A young girl named Coquille stands on a beach, her silky golden hair flowing behind her as the sea breeze caresses her face. She smiled softly, looking out at the fuchsia sun setting on the thin line of the horizon, being swallowed by grey clouds. The waves lapped calmingly at the shore, the soothing lull treasured in her memory. The girl looked down, pale and glowing in the dying light and knew it was time to go.
She sinks in the sand, it's gritty clutch dragging her down, as she waves goodbye to the setting sun. A single, pristine white shell, left in the exact place she stood, awaits the dawn with the utmost excitement. (- I.T. Grundy)
